Job Description
Job Title: Digital Printing Technician
Job Summary: One lead person with dye house experience
This position is responsible operating 360 printing machines in both development and production environments.
Responsibilities, Duties and Physical Requirements:
Understands workflow and business needs to achieve project deadlines.
Provides hands-on operation to maintain production with overall efficiency and quality.
Operates software to build file to print artwork onto the sock.
Operates 360 printing machine to print the artwork onto the sock.
Evaluates the printed sock to ensure the quality of the print is correct based on product specifications.
Operates sock pretreating machines prior to printing certain products.
Operates curing cabinet for printed socks that require curing.
Operates sock dyeing machine to finish the socks correctly.
Operates sock dryer to dry the socks prior to finishing.
Executes and documents digital printing experiments for development and production.
Brings recommendations and ideas on what is possible with technology.
Troubleshoots printing machine problems and print quality issues.
Maintain adequate supply of materials needed to perform tasks effectively.
Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
Maintain a safe and clean work space
Follow established safety rules and regulations
Must be capable of lifting 35lbs
Must be able to stand, stoop, and bend
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or GED required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience with computers including printing software and Microsoft Office
Committed to quality, safety and communication
Team-oriented and self-directed
Background check required
Drug test required
