Job Description
Job Title: Line Operator
Job Summary:
Continuous manufacturing production & inspection on production line. Primary responsibility will be operation of production line machinery. Meet production rates & improvement targets.
Responsibilities, Duties and Physical Requirements:
Ability to make proper machine settings based on product specifications for set-ups and production run
Read & follow manufacturing orders, control plans, SOP s, safety requirements
Inspection of product going into and out of process
Support and maintain the world class manufacturing system (including 6S, Kaizan, waste, safety, SMED, Kanban, and mistake-proofing)
Must be capable of lifting 50lbs with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25lbs
Able to stand for majority of shift
Must be able to bend and stoop
Must be open to non-climate-controlled conditions with extreme heat in summer
Qualifications and Skills:
Good math skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving
Accountable
Committed to quality, safety and communication
Team-oriented and self-directed
Background check required
Drug test required
