Job Description
Job Title: General Laborer
Job Summary:
Feeds, transports, handles and prepares material for in process or finished goods processing and operates or tends machines to perform related operations in the manufacture of products in accordance with established practices, processes, regulations, guidelines and standards in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities, Duties and Physical Requirements:
Handle raw/finished materials
Operate lift truck
Cutting up scrap foam
Assist on the salvage saw
Feed, handle, prepare and/or weigh/measure material for in process or finished goods processes.
Effectively clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
Maintain a safe and clean work space
Follow established safety rules and regulations
Must be capable of lifting 50lbs
Must be able to bend and stoop
Part-time and short term
Qualifications and Skills:
Basic mathematical skills
Experience in a manufacturing setting
Mechanically inclined
Committed to quality, safety and communication
Team-oriented and self-directed
Background check required
Drug test required
